No time for Fear

  • Jul. 3rd, 2009 at 6:19 AM

For the past month, God promoted me into a bigger position in His Church here in JIL Angeles. I’m heading up the VIA/JAM now in JIL Angeles uh.. not only Angeles but the whole Area19a (composed of Angeles, Magalang, Mabalacat and Sn.Luis) and uh.. what’s VIAJAM? um.. The Music Team to be precise.

This is my Ministry Priority right now; I’m the OIC of the Music Team here in JIL Angeles… but God, Ptr.Arnel, Sis.Luz and Sis.Bheng already informed me that I should be ready to handle this team now meaning to be the Head. Ever since God has called me to serve Him; He already told me that He will use me mightily in the field of Music. Although I don’t understand Him that time, I thought He will just use me mightily as a Worship Leader… I didn’t know that Jesus visiting me in my room… had a big reason behind it.

But handling Music Team is not a child’s play. Sis.Edith Mendoza (JIL Worldwide Worship Leader head) said that before. You are not just accountable for your team… but as well for the congregation. How can you train them Physically and Spiritually? How can you prepare them for a spiritual battle every Sunday? How can you maintain their growth? It is totally nerve-racking.

Not only that…

If Handling VIAJAM or WAM is nerve-racking then becoming a PULPIT MINISTER is more than nerve-racking! Its not enough that you are a master of Speech Club, or you are very familiar talking to the crowd. Becoming a Pulpit Minister is not an Easy Job. Some people say, “If you are “dumb” become a pastor.” Preaching and teaching the Word of God is not an easy task. Because it is not about how you deliver the message but its how about you put the message in the hearts of those who are listening to you. Delivering the message of God is not about Skill or your pronunciation. It’s about sharing your relationship with God. Talking not only to the Physical senses of people but as well as their spiritual senses.

To God be the Glory, my Spiritual maturity has been increasing rapidly eversince March 1, 2009 (When God had visited me). But to tell you frankly, I do not know whether to be happy or frightened. Yes. I should be happy because this is the will of God… for His Children to be more matured Spiritually. But I am frightened because, It happened so fast! and I feel like I couldn’t go on with the flow.

“No time for Fear” - this what the Holy Spirit impressed upon my heart. This is the time of faith and determination. This is the time of Spiritual growth and the time to trust God 100%! This is the time to press on towards the Goal. I’ve been running away many times in the past years… but this time, I have to stand up and face to face accept the challenges that God has put in my life.

“NO TIME FOR FEAR
IT’S TIME FOR FAITH AND DETERMINATION”

So Help me God, for You have said in Your Word in
“Zech 4:6: Not by our might, nor our power… but BY YOUR SPIRIT”

When God visited me...

  • Mar. 3rd, 2009 at 6:17 AM

last February 28, 2009…  the text message I received was this:

The Dayspring from on High has visited us – Luke 1:78 – Our lives here on earth will always have suffering and pain and it through faith that we will see the light. The heart of a believer will always be able to see God’s guiding light through everything.

So I was encouraged and I thank God for that message. But I didn’t know that He would do something greater than using a message.

You see… last Night (February 28, 2009). After VIA/JAM (Music) Practice I was knockdown and went to sleep. But at exact 1am of March 1, 2009, I woke up.. and as I open my eyes, my surroundings was full of yellow. Everything were sparkling! The JIL Posters, the windows, the walls…the computer, the bed.. everything was YELLOW! it was strange because my wall is blue and my electric light is color blue… but it was all yellow… It’s like the sun is shinning upon me. I had to rub my eyes to know its true and it stayed there for 10 – 15 minutes.

As I was looking in my surroundings, I felt my eyes teared and I suddenly prayed. I felt God’s presence upon me and I worshipped Him and the Holy Spirit overwhelmed me so I got up and danced in the spirit as I was singing “Holy Spirit Rain Down” when the light left me… I felt refresh… I felt that I was re-charge. That a new spirit was within me and my tiredness left me.

I texted some of my Keyleaders at Church to interpret and all were connected to the word “Light”

Sis. Bheng said it was the “Light”, Ptr. Arnel  said, “It was Light and Hope” and Bro.Lito said, “It was Light and Recharging of Spirit.”

and after leading Praise and Worship for 2 services. (after my DA for almost a month because of my character) God embraced me and told me “Please my daughter… serenade me more… I longed for more worshippers that really serenades me”. His presence at our Church last PM Service was really awesome. Many were healed, refreshed and all of us were touched by Him.

And then I was reminded by Darlene Zschech’s sentence about Worship. “Worship is giving worth to God. It is not the ‘after experience’ rather the ‘before experience’. Some Christians wants to feel ‘the experience’ that is why they worship.” Although the ‘Experience’ will follow once you Worship. But Worship is not like that, Worship is Ministering GOD (Now I understand) It is giving the glory, giving the worth to God, it is pleasing and tickling the heart of God

Worship is expressing our Love to God. And as Worshippers we must grow deeper… and really deeper in love with God. So that once we lead Praise and Worship, we can share that Love to the congregation and the congregation will follow and they will experience the mighty move of the Holy Spirit, like they never experienced Him before.

Lol… just a sidenote: Philip last night said, “Thank you Lord, I got my dream… He love you more than me now… I can live in peace now.. I can die happily now”

lol..

I can’t get enough of Jesus, coz I am really in love with Jesus.

When God command…

  • Oct. 10th, 2008 at 8:10 PM

Have you ever experience being commanded by God?

I have.

It was… what can I say? I can’t.. explain. Anyway, it happened last October 1, 2008. I was assigned to exhort in the prayer meeting. But because I wasn’t feeling well so I texted Sis.Bheng and told her that I couldn’t exhort. After that, I spend my day, on the bed… sleeping. But at exact 5:45pm… my cell phone rang, and I when I read it.. it was our VIA Head Sis. Carol telling me to lead the Praise and Worship for the prayer meeting. I texted her back saying, “I could not led the Praise and Worship because I am not feeling well, I was even assigned to exhort but I can’t.” So after I send that message, I returned to my bed but after a few minutes of my eyes closed, I heard God telling me to go to Church and Preach. I opened my eyes and looked at the clock.. it’s almost 6pm (10 minutes before 6:00). And I told God.. that I couldn’t. But once again.. I heard Him (loud and clear) He commanded me to go to the Church and Preach. So I had no choice but to obey.

But the question was… what will I preach? what is God’s message? I wasn’t prepared. So after 5 minutes of preparing myself (would you believe I can do that?) I opened my Bible and ask God for a message and He led me to ACTS where Rhoda and the apostles doubted when they heard Peter’s voice. So I just read it and I ask God to make me understand the message.

When I got to the church, the Prayer Meeting already started; and when I was called to preach… I ask the congregation and led them into a prayer before I preached. The Message of God that came out from my mouth is about Praying but not believing. It was not me who moved but it was God; and at the end of the Exhortation… all of us were crying. The pain that I was feeling suddenly vanished. And after the Prayer meeting; Ptr. Arnel told me that someone told him that they were reminded and blessed when they heard me preaching about the message of God. I said, “To God be the Glory”.

Truly that when God commanded, You have to obey… and when you obey, He will not leave you nor forsake you. I thought I couldn’t do it.. but God helped me. It is really true that when you don’t know what to say.. just open your mouth and let the Holy Spirit talk. And after that, when you obey, it will be very satisfying because God will smile at you for obeying Him....

When God told me to preach in KKB Service

  • Sep. 26th, 2008 at 2:37 AM

You have no idea how big my eyes were when I heard him said those words. KAKA-SHOCK! pero it was confirmed by God; It is time to preach to the youth. Yeah I preached already in Prayer Meetings, Bible Study and even Life Groups pero… I have no idea that it was so hard to preach to the Youth Congregation.

Kalaban lang diyan naman eh… yung boredom; yung kawalang interest… these are the youth we’re talking about. (kaagad ma-bobore) @.@ And I didn’t know how to preach to them… I know that in Life Group… when I start to preach I make them laugh pero they are not this much you know?

So last Saturday; I sat in front of my computer… prayed to God what to preach… and of course I have to make a topic about the theme of the church. The Church Theme is about “Significance and Worship.” So I sat there, listening to random Christian Mp3s… as I opened the Bible… there was no message… @.@ So I waited for God’s message

Until… He made me remember… His Love. The One that drag me into His presence… His Unconditional Love and How important we are to Him. So then… I started to open the MSWord and my hands started to type the title.. “Our Significance to God; that is why we Worship Him”. Then after I finished typing the title… He led me to the verse of 2 Cor 2:17 “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, He is a New Creation, the Old has gone… the New has come”.

Then after an Hour… I finished the message of God and I couldn’t believe it! I was like… WOW.

So Sunday came… and it was KKB Service… 2pm… I kept asking God to help me, and I always declare that apart from Him; I can do nothing… I even told Sis.Bheng, Bro.John and Bro.Philip to pray for me… sobrang nervous ko @.@ Truly that apart from God.. I can do nothing.

So after the game.. I stood in the Pulpit and ask the Youth to pray before I delievered the message of God. As I was praying; I also prayed deep inside of me that God will not leave me and… May God’s presence hide the “ME” so that He can move freely in me.

Then I felt God’s assurance and my nervous left me; and I felt the power of the Holy Spirit moved in me. As I started to deliver God’s message, the youth were listening to me seriously, and laugh when I make them laugh. And before the Ministering… I told them that God loves them sooo much. Especially when I told them…

SO KKB RADICALS.. if you think you are USELESS, NO ONE LOVES YOU… THINK AGAIN.
YOU DON’T NEED TO BE EMO. GOD LOVES YOU SO MUCH. YOU DON’T NEED TO LOOK FOR LOVE. GOD IS ALWAYS BESIDE YOU. YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE CONFUSED IN LIFE. BECAUSE GOD IS WITH YOU.

IN THIS GENERATION, YOU ARE ONE OF GOD’S CHOSEN PEOPLE. YOU ARE NOT USELESS.

As the Keyboard played the Song, “Who am I” God started to minister to each one of them. Some youth cried, Some youth kneeled down. They felt how Important they are in God’s sight.

All of us… were reminded; how Important we are to God - that is why He is worthy to be worship.  We maybe the biggest loser, the darkest human being, the rebel, the most outcast… but when we accepted Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior… He’ll change our lives and He’ll adopt us in His family.

Thank you God for using me to these youth

JIL Pampanga Anniversary was awesome!  o many Signs, Wonders and Miracles!

What Miracles you ask? Well.. first of all.. there were 2 storms coming to Pampanga on the said 'day' There were already threats how strong the winds are (from 170+ to 200+) Cebu was declared "state of Calamity" (During and after the storm)

So the Leadership of JIL Pampanga declared a three (3) days fasting! We were crying and asking God for a divine Intervention. And God did not let us down, He heard our Prayers. Typhoon Mina current storm trajectory last November 25, 2007 (Morning) went to Region 2. (Pampanga is Region 3) It didn't come to Pampanga. The Eye of the storm missed central Luzon. How's that for a Miracle?

Quote
MANILA — Typhoon Mina changed course early yesterday morning and is now heading towards the provinces of Aurora and Quezon. - inquirer.net (GMA 7)

During the Ministerial; Brother Eddie, Rev. Madam Dory Villanueva and other JIL Pampanga Pastors ministered to the people who were sick. Right there and there... we have witnessed a LOT OF HEALING and MIRACLES! The Blind... Sees;  The Crippled, Walk! There were other Members who were healed with their sickness. Impossible and incurable diseases where healed MIRACULOUSLY.

Governor Ed Panlilio (he is a priest so he should be familiar with the miracles) but he was shocked and was also amazed at what God did on that Place. During the Ministerial he was told to go to the VIP Room for protection but HE DIDN'T WANT TOO! He just stayed there looking at the Altar where Miracles are happening!

and when Brother Eddie Lay his hands on Gov. Ed Panlilio; we saw him SHIVERED!!! He felt God's presence!

When we hear the word "Stand firm in the faith and resist the devil" What does that mean? How then can the watchful Christian stand firm in the faith and resist the devil?

Ans: The same way Jesus did in His humanity while here on earth:

1. By the Authority of God's Word.
2. By the Power of God's Spirit.

We now know that the devil no longer has dominion of or the right to rule over our lives. The Scepter is now in Jesus' hand, not that of the enemy. As we, by the Spirit, speak out our confession of faith, "JESUS IS LORD!" - satan must bend his knee and bow his head (Romans 14:11). It is demon powers who will tremble in torment when we face them in the mighty name of Jesus.

As we submit and come under the authority of God's Word and God's Spirit, that Authority comes upon us. We then speak the word as follows:

1. To God in prayer
2. In the confession of our Mouth
3. To the devil in reproof

The Spirit Himself then moves to energize the word, and the enemy flees - along with his lying thoughts and feelings.

We submit to God by filling our minds with His Word and our hearts with Prayer. For every wrong, evil, negative thought the enemy would sow into our minds, there is a right, good positive thought from God's Word. The Scripture says we can "overcome evil with Good" (Rom 12:21). Every time the devil seeks to give us a push in the wrong direction, we need to push him back - twice as hard - with the truth and power of God's word.

So the next time you hear a negative thought. (i.e. Sickness). Get Angry. Rose up and said, 'devil I cast you out, I smite you in Jesus name!'

SHARING! (posted at Testimony and Personal Blog)

God's plan can turn man's best dreams to shame
(One of my TESTIMONIES)
Wrote this: 05.12.07

I can't believe how adventurous our business trip was last Wednesday (05.09.07); we were looking for publishing houses to get some info and I was laughing hard because they were like mafias. :P teehee It was so hard to look for their factories!

As the car moved; Philip was so busy looking at the Manila map... I gazed upon the sky and I remember what God said before to me.

"You will have a job without experiencing interview".

Meaning I won't undergo giving resumes or even undergo interviews.

I got my first job without giving any resume. I was in a typing office. It was hard because the pay wasn't enough for all the bills. But still; I got in without giving a resume. The next job; I got in without giving resumes again! Then I was recommended by a person and I became a webmaster at the company.

I quitted the job because God gave me a business (yeah I am the boss! buwahahaha! :P). A publishing house business. We were working on this business for more than a month already and now the office is being built.

Last Sunday though; one of our church mates who owns the PAC (Philippine Agricultural Center) in Magalang (the largest 'school' in Magalang) approached me and ask me if I can work for her as a webmaster in her school. She said I won't undergo interviews anymore. I am hired already. It was flattering but I had to turn it down because I have a business already. (Plus I can be the boss in my business so... hee heee... *chuckles* hehe just kidding!)

ALL GLORY TO GOD!
(to think I haven't graduated yet...)

But what is my point?
My point is that truly when you want to achieve something in your life; God gave you the ability to overcome it. But the result can either be positive or negative. Sometimes you can be successful; Sometimes you can be failure.

But if you give your Plans to God... It's for the best.

God's plans can turn man's best dreams to shame.

How many times we have seen how God moved into the lives of the people who surrender their life to Him? How many times have we heard such wonderful testimony (that the world may never understand).

Even the Bible; we see Christians who submitted their Life to God and God lead their lives.

Abraham is a good example. He is the father of all the nations. God was pleased with him; Even it was doubtful... Abraham had his faith that God will not leave him. He wandered off the desert without knowing where he was going and his only road map was God! He had a son at the age of 100 (correct me if I am wrong) which is so impossible; But nothing is impossible with God. And now that he is dead; God promises for him didn't stop. He is still the father of all the nations.

David is another example. He gave his life to God and God was pleased with him. I bet David didn't even expected that he will be a great king; I bet he only want to become a good shepherd. He didn't expect that he will become a king one day.
He also experience letting go of God and rely on himself. And when he did that... He committed a sin (adultery and Murder).

But He was a human after all; just like all of us.

"We are all twisted image bearness, living with other twisted image bearers in the presence of an untwisted God, who is slowly making us straight. - Dr. Larry Crabb, finding God."

But David did not stop there; He repented and ask forgiveness and came back to God. That's why he wrote a journal and this journal is now called 'Psalms'.

No one is perfect; but God forgives. If you want the best Life that Life has offer. Surrender your Pen; your Life story to the one who knows everything and the one who knows what's best for you :)

Team Building

  • Mar. 12th, 2007 at 4:11 PM

The conference started at around 9am. The first speaker was Rev. Pastor Bubut Bernardo (head of Education Ministry), Next was Rev. Pastor Joey Crisostomo Who talked about "Faithfulness" (I will share you this later), The next speaker was non-other than The President of the Jesus is Lord Church Christian School and lady of Brother Eddie Villanueva "Madam/Sister Dory Villanueva" The next one was Congressman Joel Villanueva and the last was Brother Eddie Villanueva. They preached about the Core Values of JIL (explain it briefly) And since we are all WORKERS and LEADERS we understood everything (There were no members mind you) It was a Meeting of the "GENERALS of GOD under the BANNER of JESUS IS LORD CHURCH"

But even though we are only Workers and Leaders and Pastors... from Region 1, 2 and 3... The attendees were about 4,000! (I felt goose bumps when I saw the workers and leaders of Region 1,2 and 3.. I can't believe that there were a LOT OF WORKERS and LEADERS of OUR CHURCH!

We felt the Holy Spirit, But in the end of the session it was the Hand of God who moved. There was deliverance, Revelations, Annointing, Blessings, Speaking in tongues, Miracles etc... God was there... He really is.

Here are the Pictures :)

and we were blessed to have our Picture Taken with our Spiritual Bishop Brother Eddie Villanueva *_* To tell you the truth, I had desired to meet Brother Eddie Villanueva. It's true that once you delight yourself in God... He will give the desires of your heart :)

Do you ever... know people who seem to enjoy getting you into trouble? It's like they get satisfaction from watching you get punished.

Well if you do... you're not alone. I do and most of the people experience this nowadays. But more importantly, even in the Bible... you'll see people like this... people being punished because of other people. Example... Jesus.. David.. or let's talk about Daniel.

Daniel had some jealous people to contend with (Read Daniel 6). They hated the fact that their King (King Darius) regarded Daniel more highly of them. So they trapped and made a law to punished Daniel. Oh boy and Daniel committed the greatest crime in their Law!

PRAYING!

They convinced the king to throw Daniel into the Lion's den because Daniel didn't stop praying to His God and didn't bow down to the other gods. Daniel didn't even have an attorney to defend him! There was no jury trial or whatsoever!

But God was with Daniel, though I knew that Daniel was fearful before (imagine... throwing him into a lion's den!) But he didn't look into what he can see... He had FAITH that God is with Him. And did God forsake Daniel? Never. God shut the mouths of those Lions so that no harm came to him. It was a testimony of power. Testimony of the power of God.

The story had a happy ending for Daniel, and even us who can experience this... we know that God will not leave us nor forsake us... but let's face 'reality' huh? let's set aside the Faith thing (although I don't recommend this). It still hurt when we realize there are people who don't want the best for us. Like we help them and they backstabbed us. We tried to reach out yet they push as away then later will do something so that we could be punished. It does hurt.

But like Daniel... we don't have to lose any sleep over it. Not only will God go with us when we face these Lions-He will be able to Close their mouths too.

"A RIGHTEOUS MAN MAY HAVE MANY TROUBLES, BUT THE LORD DELIVERS HIM FROM THEM ALL" (Psalms 34:19)

Lord... Thank you that even when the Lions are growling, you can block their bite.

The Warning Signs of Toxic Religion
by J. Lee Grady

Legalistic religion is poisonous. Here are eight characteristics of a religious spirit.

After Elisha watched Elijah ascend into heaven, the prophet went to the city of Jericho and performed his first miracle. The men of that city faced an environmental crisis: Their water was toxic, most likely because of the sulphur and other chemicals that had rained down upon nearby Sodom and Gomorrah years earlier. This poison had made the land barren (see 2 Kings 2:19-22) and it was probably affecting people and animals as well as plant life.

So Elisha performed a bold, prophetic act. He threw salt in the water and proclaimed: “Thus says the Lord, “I have purified these waters; there shall not be from there death or unfruitfulness any longer” (NASB). His proclamation brought immediate cleansing.

This obscure story in the Old Testament offers us a picture of the gospel’s power. The message of Jesus Christ heals us. The Holy Spirit brings life where death has reigned. He neutralizes the poisons that cause spiritual barrenness. He balances the pH level so that spiritual growth and vitality is possible.

All of us would like to enjoy a healthy spiritual life. But the sad truth is that many of us, and many churches today, are barren because of hazardous additives. We have believed a different gospel, one laced with legalism, performance-based religion and salvation by works” when Christ alone is our only source of life.

Jesus Himself referred to these toxins as “he leaven of the Pharisees” (Luke 12:1). He told us that the Pharisees’ brand of religion, which looked good on the outside, was deadly and contagious.

Have you been infected? You can take your own pH test by examining these eight characteristics of a religious spirit.

A religious spirit views God as a cold, harsh, distant taskmaster rather than an approachable, loving Father. When we base our relationship with God on our ability to perform spiritual duties, we deny the power of grace. God does not love us because we pray, read our Bibles, attend church or witness, yet millions of Christians think God is mad if they don’t perform these and other duties perfectly. As a result they struggle to find true intimacy with Jesus.

A religious spirit places emphasis on doing outward things to show others that God accepts him. We deceive ourselves into believing that we can win God’s approval through a religious dress code, certain spiritual disciplines, particular music styles or even doctrinal positions.

A religious spirit develops traditions and formulas to accomplish spiritual goals. We trust in our liturgies, denominational policies or man-made programs to obtain results that only God alone can give.

A religious spirit becomes joyless, cynical and hypercritical. This can turn a home or a church completely sour. Then, whenever genuine joy and love are expressed, this becomes a threat to those who have lost the simplicity of true faith.

A religious spirit becomes prideful and isolated, thinking that his righteousness is special and that he cannot associate with other believers who have different standards. Churches that allow these attitudes become elitist and dangerously vulnerable to deception or cult-like practices.

A religious spirit develops a harsh, judgmental attitude toward sinners, yet those who ingest this poison typically struggle with sinful habits that they cannot admit to anyone else. Religious people rarely interact with non-believers because they don’t want their own superior morals to be tainted by them.

A religious spirit rejects progressive revelation and refuses to embrace change. This is why many churches become irrelevant to society. They become so focused on what God did 50 years ago that they become stuck in a time warp and cannot move forward when the Holy Spirit begins to speak in new ways. When religious groups refuse to shift with God’s new directives, they become “old wineskins” and God must find more flexible vessels that are willing to implement His changes.

A religious spirit persecutes those who disagree with his self-righteous views and becomes angry whenever the message of grace threatens to undermine his religiosity. An angry religious person will use gossip and slander to assassinate other peoples’ character and may even use violence to prove his point. Jesus, in fact, warned His disciples: “There will even come a time when anyone who kills you will think he’s doing God a favour” (John 16:2, The Message).  If the poison of religion has seeped into your life, ask Him today to pour a fresh understanding of His grace into your barren spirit.

Same pattern?

Hey you guys! How are you? Well I am still alive and kickin. I'm not really that active in Livejournal. I usually Blog in my Personal blog so yeah :P But sometimes when I am not doing anything, I do update this LJ too. (Especially the one with a Video). So what's been happening in my life you ask? (if you are  frequent Reader in potterhands, you would know :P) but okay for those people who don't read that blog.

Been Busy in Ministry, School (Yeah I am back) and Work. Been Busy in Ministry because God has called me to start a Bible Study and I have become a Cell Group leader. I attend School of Leaders every Wednesday at 4pm. School... I got 12 Units of subjects at school, and still trying to get more. My Boss already promised me that I won't work overnight anymore (so that it won't affect my school). But she doesn't want to let go of me so yeah... I do get allowance though.

Dad will leave around October 2006, so My Sisters and I will start to take care of the House. Dad however is planning to enroll me into a driving lessons and will have my own credit card before he leaves us.

OnlineKKB Angeles Launched the Website last August, and I lead the Cybernetic Ministry of the JIL Angeles. FCF forum moved and it improved for the Glory of God :)

Recently finished 4 requests Videos in youtube... You - Urusei Yatsura, Forlorn - Urusei Yatsura, That's the way Love is - Urusei Yatsura , and At the Beginning -Smoon. I have updated my Fanfics: Brother, Akane is mine (Ranma 1/2), I love you and I mean it (daa3), Love the 2nd time around (Sailorstars) and Hurt to Heart Sequel  (CCS). Will Update Who will give in? (Ranma 1/2), I love you and I mean it (daa3), Love the 2nd time around (Sailorstars) and Mission of the Heart (CCS) When I have time.

Now some of you may ask why I update just now?
Well earlier, I was watching Urusei Yatsura... and I was at the episode where Ryunuske told Ataru (before bashing him into the orbit) "Its the same pattern everyday! Everyday!!!" It is really nothing if you look at it, but something strike into my heart when I heard that.

What is it Chette?
Well it is about... how we sin then we ask forgiveness then we sin and then ask forgiveness again. Not only that, we promise and then break it again, then promise and break again. How about... We pray and fret (worry) and God solve our problems, then thank God once again, then another problem happens and then we pray and fret once again.

Silly huh?

You know that God will solve your problems yet you worry. Then God will show His power and you'll be thankful. Then another problem arise and you start to worry again. It's the 'Same Pattern' as Ryunuske said. Why not trust God? He had solve your problems before and surely He'll solve your problems again right? All you have to do is keep the faith, believe that He will and do not fret.

Its just a simple thing to do!

So why is it hard?

As I was browsing last night (when I took a break from my work) I searched my name is the google... and almost all the pages that showed in google.com are my pages lol or fanlistings. Anyway... but because of that search, I saw two shocking things...

1. I found out my profile in Soundclick
I got so excited so I uploaded another mp3. Yeah if you want to hear me sing secular/anime songs just click on that link and it will lead you to my account and in my account you can hear me sing anime songs :P (One of the song is even on a top chart)

2. I found out that I am in Wikipedia now @.@
and through the words how SHE described me.. definitely it's Lmae.. because the words were at the fanlisting too @.@

Anyway... I have uploaded a new chapter of Ranma "Friendship bracelet" and updated all the pages. Philip and Chette LOVE BLOG moved here in potterhands.com. ^^ (So please change your links, and if you have time drop by and visit there :D)

Sometimes when worries and heartache press upon us, we are quick to judge what God does in our lives. We look at the circumstances of our lives and then decide whether what He is doing is "right" in our opinion. It's really quite presumptuous, but we do it just the same. Sometimes we may deny it but we are doing it, sometimes and sadly we don't recognize we are already doing it.

Where do we get our standards of what is right and what is wrong anyway? Actually, our standards come from God Himself. We would have no concept of right or wrong if it were not for the fact that God is totally right. In reality God wrote the definition of "right" (righteous), for it is a characteristic of His nature. It follows that being made in His image, we have a bit of an understanding of what is "right" even though we can't live up to it.

Humans are prone in mistakes and failures. We obviously get more attach in wrong than in right. And when we fall or fail... we blame and judge God.

Why not do your BEST? I am not talking about Your BEST. I am talking about this type of BEST...

B - Believe in GOD
E - Eagerly await in GOD
S - Susceptible in GOD's spirit
T - Trust in GOD

If you turn your life over to God, you can trust Him to do what's right-whether you understand it or not. Instead of you bearing all the responsibility, it's now God's task.

When you worry and depression try to convince you otherwise, ask yourself "Will not the judge of all the earth do right?" People are prone in mistakes. So give it to Him, or else if all fails... even it is your fault.. you blame God.

Life is very simple. Its the people that makes it complicated.

What's up, smiley? Somehow you just always seem to find a way to turn that frown upside down. Your upbeat attitude and friendly demeanor brighten up any room, including your favorite chat room.

Like your classic emoticon counterpart, you're a staple on anyone's list. Boring days and sleepless nights are far more bearable when you're online to chat. Whether you're shooting the breeze, catching up, or giving out advice, you can cheer up anyone on the other side of the conversation. So keep lightening the mood, making new friends, and bringing smiles to other folks' faces. After all, it's just so natural for you!

I really had a wonderful birthday! (Feb 14) ^_^

SHOPPING WITH GOD (3:00pm)
After buying a gift for Philip, Father God ask me if He can accompany me for my window shopping. It was this voice coming from my heart saying, "I want to go shopping with you" So I smiled and after I said the word "Yes" to the wind (hahaha). I felt God started to accompany me. So we toured the mall. I felt so happy. I know that I am alone physically, but spiritually I am not. Then suddenly, God told me that He wants to give me something, so He told me to go to the House of Praise shop. So I went there, looking at the CDs and I saw Steve Kuban CD. So I ask the saleslady if I can see the CD, so she gave it to me and I was like *gasp!* at the price! It's worth P420.00! ($8) So I said... "oh no.. I can't afford this CD..." Then suddenly the saleslady smiled at me and ask me if I want to become a member of the store, for becoming a member... I'll get discount. So okay... I agreed and she gave me this form. So as I was filling up the form, she was like looking at the paper too. Guiding me actually. Then she saw

Birthplace: Angeles
Birthday: February 14, 1981

She looked at me and said, "It's your Birthday today??" she asked, I nodded and gave her the membership form. She gave me paper and she told me I will get my ID next week. "But you can buy CD now and there will be a discount" she said, I said, "I can't afford it" Then she gave me a CD of Steve Kuban called, "Come Holy Spirit" and she said, "This is just 200 ($3) pesos. Do you want it?"  she asked, I was thinking then God told me to get it. So okay I nodded and took it. (God told me eh :P) so yeah then as I handed the 200 pesos, she was putting the CD I bought (Come Holy Spirit) and the 400 pesos CD of Steve Kuban "The Lord is my Tower" in the plastic bag. I told her, "I only bought one CD..." I said, then she said, "The CD is on me. It's my treat. God told me to give it to you. Don't worry. I'll buy it for you"

I was... amazed... shock. I controlled my tears, I controlled to burst out right there and there. As she handed the two CDs... After I said Thank you so much and left the store, one tear fell on my face, and I whispered. "God... you are so good. Thank you for the gift" and then I heard a soft whisper of God, "You're welcome my child. Happy Birthday"

When God answers selfish prayers

  • Feb. 12th, 2006 at 4:45 AM

I was reading this book titled "Did you get what you prayed for?" and one of the stories there (True stories) Inspired me to pray for something. I'll just make the story short :) Her name is Nancy Jo Sullivan. She dreamed to go to the Holy Land (Israel) but she found out that the trip will cost her a thousand bucks. If she wants to get the trip she has 6 months to decide and pray for it. So in those 6 months... she prayed and prayed... and then July came...  (I'll start typing what's in the book)

The first day of July arrived. I woke up early just as the sun was rising but lingered in bed for a while. It's the last day to turn in money, I reminded myself.

On the way to the restaurant, my friend pulled into the driveway of a stippled church. "I'll be right back; I've got to drop something off" she told me, As I waited in the car, I looked toward the garage of the church rectory. Inside, I saw a tall man in a funnel shirt fixing a bicycle. I recognized him. He had often ridden past the college, and we had waved to each other many times.

I walked towards the garage and exchanged small talk with him. I found out his name is Lenny and that He wanted to be a pastor and was living at the church for a year. His commitment to God has compelled him to live a life of simplicity. He had pared down his possessions, giving his car to the homeless man, He dreamed of serving the poor in a third world country.

"God gives generously so we in turn can do the same," he told me as he oiled the chair of his bike. "So what are your plans for the rest of the summer?" Lenny asked,

"I think I am going to...Israel" I said, I told him how I had always hoped to see the Holy Land. "There's a trip scheduled... but I can't afford it, although I've been praying for a miracle" I said,

"How much do you need?" Lenny asked,

"A thousand dollars"

Lenny smiled, "You've been praying that God would answer a prayer of yours, and I've been praying that God would answer a prayer of mine"

He then explained that he had recently inherited a large sum of money and that he'd been asking God to show him what to do with it. "But last week," he said grinning. "I received an additional inheritance of a thousand dollars. Ever since, I've been asking God who's it's for"

At first I didn't understand what he was saying.

"That person is you" Lenny said,

"Me?"

He nodded, "You!"

Minutes later, Lenny handed me a one thousand dollar check dated July 1

"How should I repay you?" I asked,

Lenny wasn't all concerned, "Pay it back to someone who needs it more than I do" he said,

and so that August, I went to Israel.

The story... I just shared to you... inspired me to pray for something. (Like I said). But I couldn't have imagined... that it happened to me too.

You see... I have a deadline of payment this week. But I have no money anymore. I really don't want to use the money we were saving plus you really can't withdraw it because it's in a time deposit account (or whatever that is...). So I started to pray just like Nancy. Even it was so impossible at first, But last Tuesday.. the money came... God provided it. A very impossible situation became possible. And just like this "Lenny" guy in the story, She didn't ask for anything. She just gave it. Right there and there. (I am not going to say her name because I want God to bless her secretly).

Occasionally, others may tell you that making personal requests of God - petitionary prayers - is the lowest form of prayer. They would have us do nothing but praise God and pray for others.  But Prayer also help God to mold our hearts. Sometimes we don't know what we need until we pray about it. Sometimes God answers prayers not so much because we need something, but because we need to learn something. Even more to the point, Jesus told us "Ask and it shall be given to you. Seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks the door will be opened."

Is there is something you desire, but you feel selfish praying for it? God knows about it anyway. Talk to Him. Maybe there's someone else who should hear your dreams! Only God knows!

We can ask for the desires of our heart, as long as we're willing to allow God to change those desires. Remember, He is the perfect gift giver. God also allow the receiver to give more generously to others. And that's all part of God's perfect plan. To bestow gifts that keep on giving!

God bless everyone! Domo Arigato!
